It's two days after Christmas, and what a wonderful Christmas it was! I spent a couple days in Pennsylvania, visiting with grandparents and such. On Christmas Eve, I went back to Ohio. Later that evening, we opened gifts at my house. What was my favorite gift? Definitely luggage. That's right, I got a full set of luggage, as well as other things that will help me with my adventures this summer. Luggage locks, outlet adapters, etc.

Right now, I'm sitting in the living room at my boyfriend's house in South Dakota. It's cold and very windy, but it's definitely worth it to be here. We get another week to relax, and then it's back to Indiana for school!

Well, it's really happening. I'm going to South Africa for 10 weeks this summer! I am beyond excited, but I'm also very scared. It's going to be a time of extreme growth, thats for sure. I will be interning with Trans World Radio. TWR is a non-profit, international media ministry that exists to reach people around the world for Christ. I will help develope two websites, write articles, take pictures, and do other tasks related to the field of communications. I'm excited to put everything I've been taught so far at Huntington University into action! We'll see how I do! While I'm there, I'll get to spend some time in Swaziland. I'll get to hang out with some local people and get to know them and their culture.

Before I can actually go though, I need to raise some money. And not just some, $4,550. I'm not nervous though, I know God will make it work if this is really what he wants me to do. I ask that you might prayerfully cosider supporting me financially, and if not by ways of money, maybe through prayer. Pray that I will reach my goal of $4,550, and that I'm open to everything God is showing me during this time in my life. You can find more information about TWR, and about me, at www.wix.com/brittanyreynolds/online-portfolio

I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as I find out more about what I'll be doing, and as the fundraising process really kicks into gear! Check back soon!
